First I would like to send my congratulations to all the engaged couples out there. You are about to travel the road of one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life. If you’ve decided to take on the new role of wedding planner and plan the event that will remain in your memories for the rest of your lives, just remember these simple things. Make your plans one day at a time, one week at a time and one month at a time. Keep your budget in mind and stay organized. Be kind to each other; remember biting off each others heads isn’t nice.

Keep your parents in the loop. There will be times when they feel unwanted. Even if your future mother-in-law becomes a monster, there will be a time when you will need her help. As for your wedding party, keep in mind, they are your friends, you asked them to be part of this special day for a reason. Be cooperative, gentle and tactful. Oh! and be prepared for some criticism. As for everyone else, the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, accept there love and support but everything else, tell them to zip the lip! It’s your wedding!

Finally, remember, the wedding is only ONE DAY in the rest of your lives.
